Q: What is UPurMEMORY?
A: UPurMEMORY is a tool to help you memorize blocks of text verbatim. It accomplishes this by testing you at an interval that you specify and giving you feedback as you are tested.

Q: Why did you write UPurMEMORY?
A: Two Miles Solutions, LLC is dedicated to writing software that makes people's lives easier. A lot of times people need to memorize things so they resort to flash cards or other random tools. This application helps bridge that gap by automatically testing the user. Another main driver was allowing people who sit at their computer all day long to use it to help them memorize what they need to memorize.

Q: How much does UPurMEMORY cost?
A: UPurMEMORY cost $10 (plus sales tax, currently 5.50% for Wisconsin residents) and can be paid for securely by using PayPal.

Q: How many computers can I install UPurMEMORY on?
A: You may install UPurMEMORY on 3 of your own computers, you may not install UPurMEMORY on a computer that is not yours (i.e. a friends computer is off limits.)

Q: Can multiple users on the same computer use UPurMEMORY and have different memorization passages?
A: Yes, UPurMEMORY is built in such a way that each user of your computer (that has a separate login, thus creating separate personal documents folders) gets a separate copy of the database. This allows them to have their own settings as well as their own memorization passages. Having multiple users on the same computer using UPurMEMORY does not count against your 3 computer limit.

Q: What happens if I can't run the install program?
A: After you have paid for UPurMEMORY, you will be presented with links for 2 installation files. We STRONGLY recommend downloading BOTH. The two files are:

First try installing Setup.exe, if that doesn't work, go to our help pages to find instructions on installing the zip file.

Q: Why is there no autostart shortcut installed when I install UPurMEMORY?
A: The last thing Two Miles Solutions, LLC wants to do is put you in a situation where you are in a meeting and your computer farts at you because that is the notification sound that you chose. To avoid this, we do not provide an option for automatically starting up UPurMEMORY when Windows starts. If you would like instructions on how to create an autostart shortcut, visit our help pages.

Q: How much will upgrades cost?
A: At this time we have not determined the price for upgrades, however one thing that we do promise is that existing users of UPurMEMORY will be able to get at least a 50% discount on all upgrades.

Q: What happens if the application crashes?
A: With all of our testing, we haven't found a way to crash UPurMEMORY, however, if you do find a crash, you will be presented with the option to create a debug file as well as instructions on where to send that file so that we can remedy the problem.

Q: How do I give feedback (good or bad)?
A: On the Contact Us there are instructions on how to contact Two Miles Solutions support.

Q: Where is the help file?
A: The help file is located here.

Q: Which operating systems are required?
A: UPurMEMORY requires the .NET Framework version 2.0 to run, therefore you must have one of the following operating systems to run UPurMEMORY:

NOTE: UPurMEMORY now works on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows operating systems.
