Custom Sites

Listed below (in alphabetical order) are the sites that Two Miles Solutions, LLC has created for customers in the past that do not use the WordPress content management system. In most cases it was because either the customer did not want the complex functionality that WordPress provided or the site was built at a time when WordPress was not as full featured as it now is as a Content Management System.

Andrea Torres MadisonAndreaTorresMadison.com was developed for a psychotherapist based in Madison, WI. She did not want the complex editing ability that WordPress provided so instead we used Cushy CMS as the content management system that would allow her to edit the text and images on her site.

Camp K9 PetcareCampK9Petcare.com was a fun website to work on because of all the interrelated pieces. When Two Miles Solutions, LLC took over their site they had a design they didn’t like but a reservation system that customers were using so the goal was to build a new website, but retain as much of the existing reservation system as possible. Because of the way the previous code was written, it ended up that Two Miles Solutions, LLC was only able to use the database, the rest of the site was built from the ground up. Another caveat to this site was that after customers reserved their time at the facility, they were entered into another kennel management software package that used dBase to store the files on one of their front end desktop computers. As part of their website they wanted to be able to run an email newsletter that was sent to all customers that were in their kennel management software. To accommodate this, Two Miles Solutions, LLC wrote a custom C# .NET windows form application that would pull the data from their kennel software and FTP the information to the web server then kick off a process on their web server to import the data. That way, when they were ready to send their email newsletters, they could filter on the information that they wanted to filter by and send emails to the relevant people.
